This year, the building construction program has new equipment and a fresh start. The students' first project of the year is repairing the chairs from the media center at Lee Central High School. They are doing a great job so far. Building construction prepares the student with occupational skills in the areas of masonry, carpentry, plumbing and electrical installation. Skill training is very important to any developing nation. In recent years, countries across the world have been expanding in construction and new inventions in technology. It is very important that schools and training institutions expand on the skill training courses offered to students in order to meet the growing demand for skilled, trained workers.
